Solaris 60

Solaris 60

Solaris 60, Solaris Yachts confirms its leadership in  custom y semi-custom between 50 ‘and 80’ feet.

This new Solaris 60 model will shape the way the boat is built and conceived and will influence nautical design for the next ten years.

The Solaris 60 is inspired by the idea of creating a Mini-Maxi, a high performance sailboat, with a total length of 18.31 m.

This length allows participation in high-altitude regattas and the Mini-Maxi class, including the main event in Porto Cervo that takes place every year.

The main innovation of the Solaris 60 is in the cockpit since it has a new position of the wheels of the helm station taking full advantage of its sleeve.

From this position a better visibility is ensured for the trim of the headsail.

The width of the steering system allows lowering the position of the bathtub, making it safer and raising it with two steps that lead to a side deck.

This solution is normally adopted in very large vessels, over 140 feet.

In addition, thanks to the new position of the wheels, the helmsman will have, even during maneuvers and navigation, a better view without any obstacles.

Behind the wheels there are several seating options available for driving in different sea conditions, even sitting down.

Below deck you will find a typical Solaris layout that includes a slightly concealed galley with a passage to the forward cabin.

And for the first time with the possibility of 2 aft cabins with single or double beds

The shipowner’s cabin, located in the bow, is extremely spacious and has two bed arrangement options.

Special attention to the crew cabin

It is located in the bow and equipped with a separate bathroom.

The garage has longitudinal access, has minimal intrusion into the aft cabins.
